Logging systems
This is a log of my workflows and systems, and the thought processes behind them.

Cross-platform interoperability
I used to think cross-platform is a huge issue. But I don't care as much anymore because:
- Referencing another screen (whether bigger, smaller or same size) while copying over to another screen isn’t bad. In fact it might help in memory retention
- Trying to chase cross-platform functionality and compromising by relying on either writing your own app or a subpar/paid app isn't ideal when I need to get my system to work and STICK.
Viewing the brain: Obsidian is really meant only for writing on the MacBook. Typing and managing the plugin/sync issues isn't something I want to get into/rely on, but could serve me in a pinch. Ultimately, any note consumption should be done on Apple Notes.
#UPDATE 20012025: I have since purchased Obsidian Sync as it is the best solution for cross-platform between Windows, Mac and iOS. Braindump still goes in Apple Notes, but it is far easier to get an updated copy of the vault with Sync. I don't use Publish.
- In Apple Notes - no writing/editing should be done. Maybe some slight organisation, but otherwise it should be copied/summarised/analysed in Obsidian.
Productivity
Todos
Reminders is my main app. It used to be Todoist, but while I found the free version sufficient, it just lacked the native platform support.
UNDERLORD
- Since it is my Windows PC (which I no longer use to do much work on), I still revert to using MOCHI to log todos.
