How to read a paper
Especially because I'm just starting out, it might be better to just write them down somewhere. I'll make a template
The first pass
- Read the start (title, abstract, introduction), headings, and conclusion
- Answer the following questions:
Category
- Some examples of paper types: Measurements, system analysis, research/product prototype
Context
- What other papers is this one related to? What theory is this based on?
Correctness
- What are the assumptions? Why are these assumptions made and are they valid?
Contributions
- I don't know much about contributors at this point but I think it would be important to understand who wrote it
Clarity
- Can I understand the concepts well?
