2025 Goals

Health

  1. Prioritise and follow a gym routine that focuses on cardio and weights
  2. Maintain a sleep cycle of 7 hours of sleep from 12am to 7am
  3. Maintain sanctity of the hour before sleep - no studying or doomscrolling

What happened? Put on weight to my ideal range. Lost some muscle mass so I have done the bulking, I just need to cut.
What should you STOP doing? Doomscrolling before bed
Last minute studying before a paper
What should you KEEP doing? Eating healthily, not snacking, water consumption
Take protein and creatine.
What should you START doing? Reduce the number of times I stay out late
Maintain consistency at the gym
Fix deadlift form and properly load
Follow a proper gym routine for a whole year that focuses on results

Relationships

  1. Focus on friendships that I see bringing into my adult life
  2. Make new friends but don't push too hard with being outgoing
  3. Integrate Nikhi into the family
  4. Maintain a personal CRM

What should you STOP doing? Pushing the "outgoing" switch too much. It's okay with certain crowds and one-time meetings but I end up regretting a lot of what I say and do
What should you KEEP doing? Focus on long-term friendships
What should you START doing? Maintain friendships with proper tools

Fun

  1. Prioritise work and long-term goals over finding "new" experiences
  2. Find the fun in things instead of "fun things"
  3. Focus on fewer hobbies

What should you STOP doing? Finding new hobbies, just focus on one or two this year. Coding isn't counted
What should you KEEP doing? Finding the fun in things. Hopefully, outdoor activities
What should you START doing? Prioritise work and long-term goals over "new" experiences, this isn't 2024 anymore

  1. Begin my training arc for applied ML and AI

What happened? Almost drained my wallet dry travelling and enjoying good food, generally living within my means. I won't be travelling as much, so that shouldn't be as big of a deal.
What should you STOP doing? Taking Grab and spending on frivolous purchases that I struggle to justify afterwards
